Designing Logical Frameworks (Logframes) for Projects

hero-aai-bg-1.png

Well-designed Logical Frameworks (Logframes) are the foundation of successful, fundable, and well-managed projects. Donors, governments, and implementing partners increasingly require projects to demonstrate clear logic, measurable results, and accountability. Weak or poorly structured Logframes often lead to funding rejections, implementation challenges, and ineffective monitoring.

This intensive, hands-on training workshop equips participants with the practical knowledge, tools, and confidence to design clear, logical, and results-based Logframes that support effective project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Why Attend This Workshop

This course is designed for professionals who want to move beyond theory and develop donor-ready Logframes that stand up to appraisal, implementation, and reporting requirements.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Design clear and coherent Logframe matrices for different types of projects
  • Conduct structured problem and objective analysis to inform project design
  • Develop SMART indicators and realistic means of verification
  • Identify and manage key assumptions and risks
  • Use Logframes as practical tools for planning, monitoring, evaluation, and communication
  • Facilitate participatory planning processes involving key stakeholders

Participants will leave with a complete Logframe developed during the workshop that can be immediately applied to their work.
